In 2003 artists of different
origins, all based in Ibiza, got together to create a new way to make
their
artwork directly available to the
public.
The Art Club of Ibiza
was founded, an association of visual artists of different origins such
as
painters and sculptors, all residents of Ibiza,
Their aim is to present events,
such as art exhibitions in the garden of
Las Dalias in San Carlos,
where they collectively exhibit some of their art pieces.

Ofcourse the Art Club of Ibiza
succeeded in their plans, and so for the past years their succesfull
events take place from May to October.
These monthly art exhibitions held in the garden of Las Dalias, San
Carlos, are called the
Noche del
Arte. |

They also started a second initiative
that time called
Ruta del
Arte.
It consists in an invitation to taste the islands
art
scene, by following the route and visiting participating painters and sculptors in their private
studios, during the months May to October. |
